About KC Quilt Retreat

We moved to Smithville with our family in 2011 and love to travel. Rich is an avid off road adventurer and Wendy loves to quilt. We were recently blessed with a granddaughter in early 2022. Rich is an SAP Consultant and Wendy works as a Technical Lead Systems Engineer for Garmin.

Wendy has been quilting for more than 30 years; her grandmother was a quilter and she has carried on the tradition. She's always enjoyed retreating with her friends several times a year to work on projects, and decided to open this space for others to enjoy the same here closer to Kansas City.

The quilt retreat space was built with ADA compliance in mind (4' hallways, 3' doors, zero entry shower with benches and hand wand, no stairs, etc.) We're located 30 min from downtown KC and 45 minutes from Hamilton, MO.

We welcome quilters, scrap bookers, and crafters of all kinds that could use our space for their projects, or just want to get away for a relaxing weekend in the country.
